Simpson Strong-Tie HU hangers are heavy duty connectors designed for schools and other structures requiring additional strength, longevity and safety factors. Most models can be installed filling round holes only, or filling round and triangle holes for maximum values. The Strong-Tie HU face mount joist hanger features a G90 galvanized finish for corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

- HU/HUC – can be installed filling round holes only, or filling round and triangle holes for maximum values.
- With 3x carrying members, use 16dx2 1/2″ (0.162″ dia. x 2 1/2″ long) nails into the header and 16d commons into the joist with no load reduction. With 2x carrying members, use 10dx1 1/2″ (0.148″ dia. x 1 1/2″ long) nails into the header and 10d commons into the joist, and reduce the load to 0.64 of the table value.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Returns
Due to multiple entities, including the factory and the warehouse, we are unable to fully manage stock. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It's possible that the stock may run out after the order has been made.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If you haven't received your item within 30 days, we're unable to offer either a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund your item must be in good condition and in the same condition as you received it in. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
