Simpson Strong Tie’s holdowns are designed for high loads while also providing ease of installation. The Simpson HDQ features a unique seat design that allows installation raised above the sill plate and greatly minimizes deflection under the load. Simpson Strong Drive SDS heavy-duty connector screws are included for proper installation. The SDS screws install easily, reducing fastener slip. They provide a greater net section than bolts.
HDQ Special Features

- Screws may be installed either flush or raised off the mudsill without a reduction in load value
- No stud bolts to countersink at openings
Installation:
- No additional washer is required
- Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws install best with a low-speed, high-torque drill equipped with a 3/8″ hex-head driver
- 5/8″ of adjustability perpendicular to the wall

Returns
Due to multiple entities, including the factory and the warehouse, we are unable to fully manage stock. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It's possible that the stock may run out after the order has been made.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If you haven't received your item within 30 days, we're unable to offer either a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund your item must be in good condition and in the same condition as you received it in. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
