The Bolhold CG40 caulk gun is skillfully designed to apply Bolthold EPX3 epoxy resin. The EPX3 epoxy cartridge contains two components of resin within a single 10 oz. tube. The nozzle at the end of the cartridge mixes these two components evenly. The mixing of epoxy grout requires a significant amount of force. A regular painters caulk gun will not provide enough force to get the job done. The CG40 caulk gun has a 40:1 mechanical gain, making mixing and applying the epoxy a simple task.
Features:
- A comfortable handle provides smooth discharge of epoxy with minimal drip when the pressure on the handle is stopped.
- The simple release allows the removal of the cartridge even if the cartridge still contains material.
- To continue applying the epoxy after more than 10 minutes of stoppage, you will need to replace the mixing nozzle as the epoxy is likely to have started to harden in the nozzle.
